Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather to compete in exhibition fight in spring 2026
Read it, and believe it: Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather have agreed to a fight. The two boxing legends will face off for an exhibition fight sometime next year.
The bout does not have a set date yet, but they are targeting a time in spring 2026. TMZ first announced the news, with Uncrowned confirming the details.

The exhibition will not appear on either of their official records, which is especially good for Mayweather, who currently boasts a stunning 50-0 record across pro fights.
Tyson teased a poster for the exhibition on his social media on Thursday, with the matchup reportedly being billed as “Legend vs. Legend.”
It’s an epic matchup for an exhibition, if a bit of a headscratcher: Mayweather, who is 48, had his last professional bout in 2017. Tyson, 59, came out of retirement in 2024 for an uninspiring loss to Jake Paul. Prior to that, Tyson’s last professional fight was in 2005.
