Jack Grealish reportedly signing with Everton on loan from Manchester City
Jack Grealish is inching closer to joining a new side next season. Grealish will reportedly sign with Everton on a season-long loan from Manchester City, according to multiple reports.
The deal is not official yet, but a medical was reportedly scheduled for Monday. If that goes well, the move is expected to be announced soon. The deal reportedly contains an option to buy for £50m — roughly $67 million — per Sky Sports.

Depending on how fast the deal is completed, Grealish could be available for Everton during its Premier League opener Aug. 18 vs. Leeds United.
Grealish, 29, is coming off a tough year with Manchester City. He played in just seven Premier League games, seemingly falling out of favor with manager Pep Guardiola. Grealish started just one Premier League game and did not appear in the team’s FA Cup Final. He was then left off the Club World Cup roster.
With Grealish on the outs, Manchester City was reportedly looking to shed his £300,000 weekly wages. Everton is expected to take on a significant portion of that cost in the deal, per The Athletic.
Grealish is one of many moves made by Everton this summer. The club also brought in Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, Adam Aznou and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall through various deals. Grealish was reportedly highly-coveted by Everton manager David Moyes, which should be a welcome sign after how things ended in Manchester City.
Grealish originally signed with Manchester City on a six-year, $93 million deal in 2021. He makes $15.6 million annually and is entering the fifth year of that contract.
