Boca Raton, Florida - After a record-setting performance in Lynn's final game of the season on Saturday, Jamison Evans has been named the SSC Offensive Player of the week. This is the first time he has been honored with the award in his career.
Evans exploded for 40 points in Lynn's 93-70 victory over Rollins on Saturday. He hit a school-record 12 three-pointers in the game, breaking Marquan Botley's mark, and he tied the SSC record, which was set by Simon Cummings of Florida Tech back in 2011.
In the game, Evans was 12-17 from deep and 14-21 from the field. In addition to his incredible shooting performance on Saturday, he also scored 16 against national No. 1 Nova Southeastern on Wednesday. In that contest, he shot 5-10 from the field and 4-8 from three-point range.
