At TD Place in Ottawa, Canada, the 2023 World Men’s Curling Championship is now taking place. The competition started on April 1 and will end on April 9. The top-seeded team in the competition is the reigning champions, Sweden. Niklas Edin, a four-time world champion skip, is in charge of Sweden. Scotland, Switzerland, and Canada are the other top seeds.
Brad Gushue’s group from St. John’s, Newfoundland, is Canada’s representative. Gushue has won two gold medals in the Olympics and two world championships. Janik Schmutz, a two-time world junior champion, is the skip for Switzerland. Scotland is being led by Skip Bruce Mouat, a two-time world junior champion.
