‘UCI BMX Racing World Championships is the prestigious world championship event of bicycle motocross. It is often called BMX Worlds in short. Cycling’s governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) organizes the event annually.
The winner is awarded a gold medal and a rainbow jersey while silver and bronze medals are awarded to the second and third place holders respectively. Interestingly, winners wear their rainbow jerseys in other cycling disciplines until the following year’s event.
The UCI BMX Racing World Championships are the premier bicycle motocross competition. A common name for it is BMX Worlds. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), which regulates cycling, holds the race every year.
The winner receives a gold medal and a rainbow jersey, and the runners-up and third-place finishers each receive a silver and bronze medal. It’s interesting to note that winners maintain their rainbow jerseys up to the following year’s competition.
