After 24 years, the Australian team set foot in Pakistan

Australian cricket team arrives in Pakistan after 24 years The Aussie team arrived in Islamabad on a special flight on Sunday morning. After that they reached the hotel through tight security. "I arrived in Pakistan," wrote Australian star batsman Steven Smith, posting a picture of the journey on Twitter.

All members of the Australian team and all members of the team management are required to stay in the hotel for one day in isolation. You can practice from the next day i.e. Monday.

The Pakistan team is having a bad time after the 2009 attack on a bus carrying the Sri Lankan team in Lahore, Pakistan. The Test playing teams did not make much of a tour due to security concerns. After six long years, Pakistan welcomed Zimbabwe in 2015. Two years later, Sri Lanka played a match in Pakistan. Two years later, the Lankans went to play the full series.

Meanwhile, the last time the Australian team visited Pakistan was in 1998. The visitors won the Test series 1-0 and the ODI series 3-0.

This time Australia-Pakistan will play three Tests and one ODI and one T20 match. The two-team Test series will start on March 4. Australia will play a sweet memory of beating England 4-0 in the Ashes series at home. The venues for the three matches are Rawalpindi, Karachi and Lahore respectively. The three-match ODI series starting March 29 will be played in Rawalpindi. The only T20 of the series will be on April 5 at the same venue.
