The Australian team is scheduled to visit Bangladesh in August. Ajid is scheduled to play 5 T20s in the upcoming tour. Although the schedule has not yet been finalized.

The selectors of Cricket Australia will announce a full 23-member squad for the two tours next week. After a long absence, Dermat and Christians have returned to the Australian team.

Darmut in particular has been considered for the T20. Although he is 26 years old, he has been called up because of his ability to bat in an aggressive manner with the bat. Meanwhile, Christian has found the best form of his career in the Big Bash. This summer, he has performed at bat and ball in parallel. He last played for Australia in 20167
