Barcelona mentor Xavi Hernandez is persuaded that the Catalan monsters go about as a magnet for enormous players and to that end, he seldom faces troubles in dealings with the ideal new signings.
The expert addressed the media before Barca's third control of the American visit against Juventus at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. The Catalans have drawn in Robert Lewandowski, Rafinha, and Frank Kessier, and the Sevilla protector Jules Kunde is confronting an exchange to the club.
"Barca is like a magnet for footballers. The charisma and grandeur of the club helps a lot in attracting new players. The exciting project is also important, the players are aware that they will have fun on the pitch and are excited to play here. We are all ambitious to bring Barça back to the top. Wherever we go - Australia, the USA - people show their affection for our club," BTA quoted Xavi as saying at a press conference.
Xavi has revealed that Ferran Torres will miss the Juventus match as he is still not recovered from injury. Asked about the possibility of Lionel Messi returning to Barcelona, Xavi reiterated that he would be happy with such an outcome.
“Yes, but Leo has a contract and at this stage it is impossible for him to return. He is the best footballer in the world, the president has already said that we hope that Messi's story with Barca is not over". The coach also praised the new signing Robert Lewandowski.
"I am happy that we have signed this type of player, a top, humble, professional player... He helps us a lot. He adapts quickly, the team grows a lot with him," Xavi said.
