Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski wins FIFA World Player of the Year award

Robert Lewandowski, the Polish star from Bayern Munich, won the FIFA World Player of the Year award, beating Lionel Messi, the football magician who won the Ballon d'Or for the seventh time in history. Lewandowski won the award for the second time in a row.
His name was announced as "Fifth the Best" in Zurich, Switzerland on Monday night. This time he lost with Messi to Liverpool's Egyptian star Mohamed Salah. They were named in the shortlist published by FIFA.

Lewandowski wins European Sue with a record 41 goals in the Bundesliga. He scored 24 goals in 2021. Lewandowski also scored two goals in the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup this year and one assist in the final.
Like Ballon d'Or, he was Messi's biggest rival here.
