Bella Thorne says she taught herself how to read and count.
“I don’t talk about it in this [book, ‘The Life of a Wannabe Mogul: Mental Disarray‘], but in the third book it would be the fact that I never learned how to read and I learned how to read from reading scripts,” Thorne, 21, said on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast. “I never learned how to count and I learned how to count from counting my dad’s cash.”
Thorne previously opened up about being dyslexic in a spot for Disney Channel.
She continued on the podcast, “I didn’t know how to dance, I had two left feet and I couldn’t even bounce on the same rhythm, and I did a dance show,” Thorne said. “I was tone deaf and I own a record label and I’m signed with Sony as an artist, and I can f—–g sign acapella like a bitch-ass now so f–k with me.”
“Everybody told me you were not gonna be able to do that. Watch me,” she said.
“I feel pretty disgusting, Whoopi, knowing everyone’s seen my s–t … I hope you’re happy … I can only imagine all of the kids who have their s–t released and then they commit suicide.”
Thorne noted that she planned to cancel her upcoming appearance on “The View” because she “didn’t want to be beaten down by a bunch of older women for [her] body and [her] sexuality.” A rep for “The View” didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment on whether Thorne was actually scheduled for an appearance.
