Angolo Kante took part in a practice session with the team last Tuesday after Corona tested negative. However, Kante said he was unable to practice on the second day due to the risk of COVID-19. Coach Frank Lampard and club authorities did not hesitate to grant him leave after he applied for leave from practice on Wednesday.
Chelsea coach Lampard fully supports Kant’s decision to miss practice. It was not immediately clear if Kante, who practiced at home on Wednesday, would return to practice on Thursday. Kante, who is calm and gentle, lives with his brother in London during the lockdown and has spent most of his time at home since the lockdown began.
Kante, who fainted at Chelsea’s training ground two years ago, was later examined to see if he had heart problems. No heart problems were detected at that time. Maybe Kante is not comfortable taking part in the practice in Corona keeping that problem in mind.
In addition to Kante, Chelsea’s young forward Callum Hudson-Audio, who was arrested a few days ago on rape charges, also did not take part in the practice due to illness.
