World sports are postponed as a result of the Coronavirus. There’s absolutely no means of getting the Cricket Board along with other federations. So they’re being forced to cut employees. Some will also be cutting the wages of these players. However, nobody knows for how long.
In a declaration, the CA stated it was eventually forced to cut employees. The fiscal situation is becoming worse because of this Coronavirus. We’ve been trimming the majority of the staff since April 27 to conserve wages because of decreased cricket actions.
“We are made to deduct some of the salaries of these officials since they shed a lot of earnings since there are no actions,” he explained. It’ll be effective from April 27 before the end of this current financial year.
The CA also stated that we’re frightened that if this scenario happens, the board will lose 50% in another six months. We’re also quite worried about the T20 World Cup and also India’s excursion.
Meanwhile, many domestic cricket institutions also have declared that the board may reduce wages.
