Deontay Wilder, American heavyweight boxer, will face New Zealand boxer Joseph Parker on December 23 in Saudi Arabia.
“The Bronze Bomber” is preparing for said fight and recently shared a video on his Instagram account where he has revealed a vision of the mind of a heavyweight champion while he trains in the ring.
In the slow motion video Wilder hits pads with his coach Malik Scott while narrating his thoughts.
“Just gotta keep going. Have five weeks left. Just keep pulling. I’ve been working so hard day and night. I’ll get it right. Let’s go.”
The former WBC heavyweight champion revealed what’s going on inside his head as he prepares for the high-stakes battle.
Another pair of heavyweights will also face each other on the same card, British boxer Anthony Joshua against Swede Otto Wallin.
It will be the first time in over a year that Wilder has stepped into the ring, and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ admitted he was excited to fight again, before opening up about his ambitions to become the unified heavyweight champion.
Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua could meet in 2024 if they both win their next fights.
