FIFA suspends All India Football Federation (AIFF)

All India Football Federation (AIFF) has been expelled by FIFA. FIFA confirmed India's ban from football in a statement on Monday. As a result, the U-17 Women's World Cup cannot be held there as per earlier plans. The competition was scheduled to be held from October 11 to 30.

FIFA's statement said there was 'undue influence from third parties' on various decisions of the Indian football federation.

What is the result of these Suspends?

According to the decision of the governing body of the organization, the venues of the tournaments that were supposed to be held in India will be changed, and at the same time, India will not be able to participate in the tournaments that it was supposed to participate in.

India will not be able to enter the field in any international match under FIFA.
The Under-17 Women's Football World Cup was scheduled to be held in India in October this year, India is not the host country of this tournament.
India's men's and women's national teams and even the age groups will not be able to participate in any international tournament.
Indian football clubs will not be able to participate in Asian Football Confederations Women's Club Championship, AFC Cup, or AFC Champions League.

FIFA will lift the ban if the current executive committee of the All Indian Football Federation is revoked and a different committee of administrators is appointed, a FIFA statement said.

Earlier this month, an Indian court ordered elections to be held at the earliest, and the newly elected committee will serve on an interim basis for three months.

According to FIFA law, the members of a football federation must be elected without any legal or political interference.
