FIFA has released the official series poster of the Qatar World Cup. The organizers unveiled the series poster at a ceremony held at Hamad International Airport.
The posters were designed by a Qatari woman artist named Buthaina Al Muftah.
Earlier, the logo and mascot were revealed. The official poster of the World Cup was unveiled this time. The poster highlights Qatar's football tradition and the Arab world's love for football.
Instead of a specific poster, the series has been posterized in seven different sequences.
"I have tried to highlight the Qatari football tradition in the poster," said Buthaina al-Muftah. The main poster of which is the traditional dress 'Gutra-eagle' worn on our heads.
FIFA Marketing Director, Jean-François Pathy, said, “The Official Poster for Qatar 2022 is an atmospheric reflection of Qatar’s artistic and football heritage. We are very proud of this beautiful series of posters that portray Qatar’s passion for football and shines a global spotlight on such a talented, female local artist.”
“These stunning posters symbolise our love of football and our excitement at hosting the first FIFA World Cup in the Middle East and Arab world,” said Khalid Al Mawlawi, Deputy Director General, Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy.
