FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2021 at Oberstdorf, Germany

The 42nd FIS Nordic World Ski Championships are held from 24 February to 7 March 2021 in Oberstdorf, Germany. The World Championships was started in 1925 for men and opened for women’s participation in 1954. World Championship events include Nordic skiing’s three disciplines: cross-country skiing, ski jumping, and Nordic combined (the latter being a combination sport consisting of both cross-country and ski jumping).

The FIS Alpine Skiing season is already filled with a lot of surprises: Lindsey Vonn in an interview has made the announcement that she is not retiring as yet, with the injury scare that made her opt out of Canada’s Lake Louise stop.

After 1987 and 2005, Germany’s most southern community is going to be host for a Nordic World Ski Championships already for the third time.
