Frank Warren predicts a shootout when Fury takes on Ngannou

Boxing promoter Frank Warren has helped build the excitement ahead of Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou by claiming that there will be a shootout when the pair meet.

Warren is Fury‘s promoter and the Gypsy King will soon be taking on UFC champion Ngannou in a hotly-anticipated bout on October 28 in Saudi Arabia.

Despite his huge reputation, Ngannou is the clear underdog given he is the one changing discipline for the event.

To properly prepare for the contest, Ngannou retained the training services of former undisrupted heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, who – in a storyline twist, Fury was named after.

Warren discusses Fury vs Ngannou

Warren thinks that Ngannou is going to be seeking a knockout despite many thinking that he is the most likely to be knocked out.

“I can’t see him outboxing Tyson, I can only see him coming to do what he does best. Throw bombs, he is a big puncher. So I think there is going to be a shootout,” Warren told Talk Sport.

Tyson‘s last few fights, he hasn’t exactly come out and boxed he has gone out and traded with people. So I think it is going to be bombs away. He has got to get this one out of the way.”

Warren also talked about how he would like to see Fury unify all of the titles but he knows that Fury is the one who decides who he faces next.

“At the moment, [the Ngannou fight] is going to be a massive event. Get this one done and see where the land lies. Me, personally, I would love to see him unify the titles. But Tyson is his own man and he will decide what he wants to do,” Warren said.
