Five of the six Lenawee County boys soccer programs were in action on Monday.
Here is how the games fell out:
BOYS SOCCER
Adrian hosted Chelsea in an SEC White matchup where the Maples fell, 3-1.
Adrian (10-6, 3-3 SEC White) were down 1-0 at the half and fell behind 2-0 before Joey Spagnoli found the back of the net of an assist from Carter Allen. Gary Kemerer made six saves in net.
Tecumseh hosted a good Ypsilanti team and was down 1-0 at half, but the Grizzlies outlasted Tecumseh, netting five goals in the second half for a 6-0 decision.
Tecumseh is 4-10 (1-5 SEC White).
Blissfield visited Onsted in an LCAA matchup with the Royals winning, 5-2.
Blake Wood and Sean Samuels each scored twice while Ian Waddell score as well. Wood had two assists as did Ethan Johnson.
Blissfield is 2-8-2 (1-2-1 LCAA) on the season while the Wildcats are 0-11-1 (0-4 LCAA).
Clinton had a non-conference game at Central Academy and won 4-2.
The Redwolves (8-5-2) scored a minute into the game to set the tone with Angel Rubio scoring on an in-bounds from Eli Turner.
Samson Schaffner scored off an assist from Max Hampel and Mattis Riddle scored off a rebound of his own corner kick. Parker Baughey netted in a header off a corner kick from Broden Manchester.
GIRLS GOLF
Tecumseh won the Onsted Invite at Devil’s Lake Golf Course with a score of 409, besting Concord (439), Coldwater (444), Summerfield (486) and Onsted (494).
Tecumseh’s Lucy Whelan (95) and Brooke Kosco (96) took second and third overall while Coldwater’s Hailey Price shot a 93. Chloe Griewahn shot a 104 to take fifth and Olivia Swirple shot a 114 to take 10th overall.
Onsted’s Lillian Helinski shot a 113 to take ninth overall and lead the Wildcats.
