Lance Stroll splits his Aston Martin in half after a bone-shaking accident in Singapore


Lance Stroll had a terrible accident at the Singapore Grand Prix qualifying round. In the last corner of the circuit, Stroll endured a heavy accident, fortunately, the Canadian driver escaped unscathed from this collision with the retaining wall, but his Aston Martin ended up split in two.

This unfortunate event resulted only in material damage and slowing down the activity, waving the red flag and putting an early end to the first qualifying phase (Q1).

Lance Stroll’s terrible accident

In his attempt to correct his trajectory after losing control of his Aston Martino, Stroll executed a countersteer that unfortunately sent him straight into the crash barrier.

Formula 1’a safety precautions allowed the Canadian driver to get out of the car by himself, but the car ended up destroyed, with several fragments scattered around the circuit.

After this brutal accident, Lance Stroll will find himself in the most delayed starting position for Sunday’s race.

Additionally, in this qualifying phase, other drivers who were also eliminated include Alfa Romeo’s Chinese Guanyou Zhou, Williams’ American Logan Sargent, McLaren’s Australian Oscar Piastri and Alfa Romeo’s Finnish Valtteri Bottas.
