In what may be one of the most bizarre transfer sagas in recent memory, Manchester United and Real Madrid are currently vying for the signing of Watford forward Richarlison. The 20-year-old Brazilian has had a breakout season in the Premier League, scoring five goals and providing two assists in 12 appearances. His performances have caught the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs, with both United and Madrid preparing offers in excess of £40 million.
The Man Utd had held initial talks over a potential deal for Richarlison with the player’s representatives, and Goal now also claim they’re interested in the 24-year-old, along with Real Madrid.
