Modern Pentathlon World Cup 2021: start time, TV channel, how to watch Modern Pentathlon World Cup

The 2021 World Modern Pentathlon Championships will be held from 7 to 13 June 2021 in Cairo, Egypt. Originally championships were meant to be held in Minsk, Belarus, but due instability in Belarus championships been moved to Egypt.

"The capital city of Egypt, Cairo, will stage the UIPM 2021 Pentathlon and Laser Run World Championships from June 7-13," the statement from the UIPM reads. "The city hosted the UIPM 2017 Pentathlon World Championships and has become a regular UIPM Pentathlon World Cup venue."

The World Cup Final had initially been scheduled to take place in South Korea, but the event was moved to Hungary due to the challenges posed by COVID-19 quarantine restrictions in Seoul.

The opening event in Budapest will be the first UIPM World Cup competition held for 13 months. ,Men's and women's world number ones Joseph Choong of Britain and France's Elodie Clouvel will be among the starters in Budapest.

Modern Pentathlon World Cup 2021 Live Stream

As of March 15, 2021, the majority of Modern Pentathlon content on UIPM TV (UIPMTV.org) became available only to subscribers. Live coverage of the Laser Run in each competition – together with highlights from earlier in the day – remains free to watch.

Viewers who do not wish to subscribe can register their details on the site to access the free coverage, which will not be available anywhere else online. Footage from Biathle/Triathle, Laser Run and UIPM virtual events will also remain free, as well as educational content.
