International cricket is returning with the Test between England and the West Indies next month. Haris Sohail and Mohammad Amir are not going to tour England. They have removed themselves from this summer tour for personal reasons.
If all goes well, Pakistan will visit England in August. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the matter in a press release on Thursday.
The tour has been confirmed but the final schedule has not been confirmed yet. The tour may be in August and September. But of course, Pakistani cricketers have to go to England long before the main match. It must be compulsory in quarantine. The PCB will announce the schedule and team later.
Amir retired from Test cricket last year. However, he is playing white-ball cricket. Aamir has taken 259 wickets in 145 matches for Pakistan in all versions of cricket.
On the other hand, Sohail is playing all types of cricket. His batting average in Tests is 37.22. And his average in T20 is 19.09.
Pakistan will play three Tests and a Twenty20 in England in August-September. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will send 28 cricketers and 14 support staff for the tour.
