Pakistan cricket team to tour Sri Lanka: Yasir Shah returned to the squad

The Pakistan cricket team will tour Sri Lanka next month. Babar Ajmara will play two Tests against the hosts on that tour, which is part of the ICC World Test Championship. Leg spinner Yasir Shah has been named in the 18-member squad for the series.

Yasir, 38, last played for the national team in August 2021, against the West Indies.

He has gone through a lot of struggle in the last one year. Fighting with injuries, the name was also mentioned in the rape case. However, Yasir was later acquitted.

Pakistan last won the Test series 2-1 on a tour of Sri Lanka in 2015.
