  • Number one in Qatar, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, England, France, Portugal, Spain.
  • Number two is the United States, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Uruguay, and Mexico.
  • Number three is Senegal, Japan, Iran, Serbia, Morocco, South Korea, Poland, and Tunisia.
  • All the teams in the number four-pot have not been fixed yet.

With teams such as Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, England, Portugal not in the same group as Germany and the Netherlands, the big teams are likely to face each other in the group stage. Such groups are called 'Group of Death'.

The guaranteed teams are Canada, Cameroon, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, and Ghana. There will also be a team from Peru, Australia, and the UAE, a team from Costa Rica and New Zealand, and a team from Wales, Scotland, and Ukraine.

Due to the ongoing war, Ukraine did not get a chance to form a team.

The duration of this year's World Cup has been reduced, Qatar World Cup will end in four days less than Russia World Cup 2018.
