A few days ago, Spanish football star Sergio Ramos said that he is thinking about his career. He wanted to leave long-time football club Real Madrid. Real then talked about extending the contract with Ramos. If all goes well, the star will be seen in the Los Blancos jersey for another year.
Ramos has been working as a watchdog at Real Madrid for more than a decade and a half. According to the Spanish news agency AS Sports, Real Madrid wants to keep Ramos until 2022. He was previously scheduled to play for the La Liga Giants until 2021.
Ramos has won the Champions League three times in a row as Real’s captain. He has also won four La Liga, four Super Copa, four Champions League, four Club World Cups, three UEFA Super Cups and two Copa del Rey.
The defender has scored 92 goals in 640 appearances for the team since joining Real Madrid from Sevilla in 2005. He has also played 170 matches for the Spanish national team.
