The Merrimack softball crew coordinated run-for-run in a rematch with the Holy Cross Crusaders on home turf as the guests attempted to require the second round of the time between the two on Tuesday.

The hosts scored their first of the evening with a two-run homer in the lower part of the first.
In the lower part of the second Quinnipiac scored again with a twofold and single before a blunder got the main run of the inning. A homer to left with two on base made it a six run game for the Bobcats.
Merrimack worked a charge late in the 6th. Jenna Wike sent a twofold to focus with one out prior to progressing to third on a wild pitch. Madison Cerpa singled through the passed on side to get Wike for the main run of the day. Cerpa was joined on board when Koshes came to on a mistake to put two on, yet the Warriors were held back from crossing the plate indeed.
With two outs in the seventh the Warriors were prepared to hop indeed. Courtney Lanpher sent a grand slam to right field in the wake of cutting remote chances foul prior in the challenge. Sarah Reisler beat down a grounder to short after Lanpher's grand slam, with a spring up shutting down the convention.
