According to popular cricket website 'ESPN Cricinfo', the 2021 Twenty20 World Cup is going to start in the United Arab Emirates from October 17. The final of this 16-team tournament will be on November 14.

Oman will play in the first round of the T20 World Cup. The eight teams in the first round will be divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Super 12. These eight teams include Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Netherlands, Oman, Namibia, Ireland, Scotland and Papua New Guinea.

The T20 World Cup will be played after the IPL final. However, the ICC has not yet made an official statement on the matter.

This year's IPL was postponed last May due to corona. The second round of the tournament is scheduled to start in the United Arab Emirates from September 19. Final 15 October. In that case, the cricket world will be in the T20 World Cup before the end of the IPL final.
