[Track and Field] Warriors Set New Records at Coaches Tribute Meet

Merrimack men's track and field competed in the Coaches Tribute Meet on Saturday, hosted by the University of Rhode Island. The Warriors had several athletes post personal bests, in addition to making their mark in Merrimack College's record book.

Aaron Gable tied school record in 60m Hurdles (8.26), and finished 5th overall in the event.

John Elie Jr. took 6th place in the 60m Hurdles (8.53), which earned him a PR and third all-time for Merrimack in the event

Ben Chase finished 8th in the 3000m, improving on his previous personal best time by five seconds (8:58.42)

Joron Harrell moved up to second in school history in Triple Jump (13.74m/45'1"). He finished in 4th place on the day.

Drew Gardner earned his best jump in two years, after clearing 4.35m (14'3.25") in Pole Vault. He finished 5th overall.
