Transfer news: Di Maria the exception to the rule

Argentine forward Angel Di Maria is set to sever a seven-year relationship with League One giants PSG. Next season, Messi and Neymar's co-star could play for Turin club Juventus.

Cristiano Ronaldo's former club are keen to sign De Maria on a one-year deal in a free transfer. According to the football magazine Gol.com, the Argentine striker may leave Paris for Turin next season.

The Argentine winger joined the Parisian club from Manchester United in August 2015 for 52 million euros. Then seven years passed one by one. His current contract with the club expires in June this year. PSG has not yet shown interest in extending the contract. That's why the Argentine winger is looking for a new address.

According to Goal.com, the Italian giants have been negotiating for weeks to get the 34-year-old Argentine. They are also holding talks with De Maria's representatives. The Serie A giants are reportedly considering a one-year deal as well as a deal for next season.

De Maria doesn't want to leave Park the Princess though. His family was established there. But Argentina may have to cut to the new target of PSG. According to Gol, that is why De Maria will leave for Turin to find a new challenge.
