Turkey wants to host the Champions League final in August

The country’s soccer federation issued a statement on Wednesday urging it to maintain the postponed closing of Europe’s greatest championship in August.

The last game of the UEFA Champions League was scheduled to be held at the Turkish capital Istanbul this season. However, UEFA postponed the league last month in anticipation of this unprecedented situation made by Corona. The Turkish Soccer Federation claimed it was prepared to host the last game in August under the altered circumstances. But, UEFA hasn’t yet declared the resumption of the Champions League.

Meanwhile, the Premier Division Football League has been re-launched from Turkey from June 12 to bring football back into the Nation.

He explained they were planning to complete the Turkish Premier Division Football League from July 28.

Nihat added that the Turkish Soccer Federation will play 6 games on weekends and one game on regular days of this week at the present program.
