Prizes have been arranged for the medalists within a few days of their return to the country at the end of the Olympics. Cars and houses have been provided. Monthly allowance has also been arranged.

Joshua Cheptegei won a gold and a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics in Uganda. He won gold by running 5,000 meters and won silver by running 10,000 meters. Missed gold in 10 thousand meters for a while. On the other hand, Peruth Chemutai won gold in the women's 3,000m staplechase. Jacob Kiplimo won the bronze medal in the 10,000 meters.

From now on, each of these three athletes will be given a monthly allowance.

Since Cheptegei received two medals, separate allowances will be given for the two medals. In addition, everyone was given a car as a gift. Besides, houses are being built to accommodate the families of the medalists.
