Vidya Balan's 'Shakuntala Devi' to release on Amazon Prime Video
Vidya Balan ‘Shakuntala Devi’ is also being released on the online platform. Gulabo Sitabo was reportedly released on the OTT platform on Thursday. On the other hand, on the same day, the makers of the biopic of ‘Shakuntala Devi’ also hinted that the film may be released online. Finally, it was officially announced that “Shakuntala Devi” is going to be premiered in 200 countries with the help of Amazon Prime Video. However, the release date has not been announced yet.

Shakuntala (1929-2013) had the ability to solve mathematical problems incredibly fast. He quickly showed his talent by solving mathematical problems suitable for 18-year-old students when he was only 5 years old. He could solve mathematical problems faster than a computer.
Directed by Anuj Menon, the film is being produced by Vikram Malhotra and Sony Pictures Network Productions. Vidya Balan is in the role of Shakuntala Devi, the human-computer. Her husband Paritosh Bandyopadhyay is played by Yeshu Sengupta and Shakuntala Devi’s daughter Sanaya Malhotra is known as ‘Dangal’.
