Locked Down WWE Heroes. Worldwide, some of them lost their jobs in the Corona crisis.
In total, WWE dismissed 4 people. Not just wrestlers, among them, are producers, referees, writers.
Fear is, this is not the end here. The pruning will continue. Among those who lost their jobs are Kurt Angle, a gold medalist at the Olympics, who joined here last year as a backstage producer.
The Gallows and Anderson team, that combined WrestleMania before this month, also referee Mike Shioda, who served for three decades, were sacked.
For the WWE talent that were released today, they didn't lose their job, they lost their dreams. Of course, it's a financial blow but most wrestlers weren't doing it for the job, they were living for the dream. And that's what sucks the most.
